If you’re in a beer mood, we’ve got over 70 different kinds, from lagers to pale ales to brown ales to IPAs to ciders to stouts.

And if you’re avoiding meat for the next 40 days, we’ve still got plenty on our menu for you to choose from including the grilled mahi mahi, fish & chips and big tails (our crunchy panko parmesan shrimp). Yum!

Mardi Gras! February 10-21

This year marks the 101st celebration of Mardi Gras Galveston. 250,000 people, 26 concerts, 24 parades, 20 krewes and 19 balcony parties. Sounds awesome, doesn’t it?

Come down to the Island and join the fun. They’re expecting sunny skies all weekend. And while you’re here, sit on our beautiful patio, which faces Seawall Blvd and the Gulf of Mexico, and enjoy one of our 70+ beers. Ah, that sounds nice. I may head down to Galveston right now.

Giants/Patriots II

When the Giants and Patriots met in week nine this season, New York came away with a 24-20 victory. When they met in Super Bowl XLII a few years ago…well, we all know what happened there. Do the Giants have the Patriots’ number?! Is that possible?!

Brady vs. Manning. The Giants’ monstrous defensive front vs. the Patriots’ unstoppable offense. Belichick vs. Coughlin. New York vs. Boston! The Tyree Catch!! GRONKOWSKI!!!

Alright, you get it. It’s going to be a huge game. And Brick House will be showing the game on our 30 HD TVs. Come on in, have a burger and some wings, enjoy our selection of over 70 beers, warm yourself by the fireplace, relax in one of our recliners…really, can you ask for anything better? Sunday! Sunday!!! SUNDAY!!!

Okay, so I know that “Sunday Sunday SUNDAY!!” is usually reserved for monster truck rallies. But I think it’s completely appropriate for this Sunday too, since we’re down to the final Sunday of NFL football before the Super Bowl! Any hopes you may have had of a Saints/Packers shootout came to a sobering end this weekend, but these match-ups may be even better…

The Giants are red hot right now, the Niners have proven (for the time being) that they’re for real, the Patriots mercifully spared us another week of Tebowmania, and the Ravens did what they do best, causing four turnovers without giving up any of their own. The NFC gives us Defense vs. Defense and the AFC gives us Offense vs. Defense. What will happen? Who will emerge? Will we see Patriots-Giants II? The Harbaugh Bowl?

Tigers vs. Tide! Les Miles vs. Nick Saban! SEC West vs…uhh…SEC West! Defense vs. more defense! It’s the national championship game! So what do you think will happen? Will LSU cap off the greatest championship season in recent memory? The game is being played in New Orleans after all, the site of their last two championships. Or will the Crimson Tide win a close one, setting off weeks of debate about split national championships, rubber matches and full-blown bowl system reform?

Toys For Tots Car Show – Saturday, December 10

Brick House Humble and Brick House 290 will each host a Toys For Tots Car Show this Saturday, December 10th. We’ll have awards for the Top 20 and Best in Show. To enter, simply bring $30 in unwrapped toys! In addition to the cars, we’ll have a live DJ and a 50/50 drawing. Whether you’re in Humble or off 290, you’re guaranteed to have a great time for a great cause.

Registration is from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and awards start at 2:00 p.m. Presented by Brick House Tavern + Tap and the Houston Mopar Connection Club.
